Sources are the mechanism for retrieving data for the index. They are mostly pulled, but can also be pushed via API. Before Sources can be configured, https://portrait.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PA/pages/854065160 must be set up. The data inside a source are then presented via https://portrait.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PA/pages/917617 to the user.

While importing data from sources, you can use https://portrait.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PA/pages/122224641 to manipulate or extend the given data.
