Frontend

The latest efforts focus on a clearer and slick user experience. Therefore we started to rework the frontend and will continue the efforts in future releases.

Image Uploader

Inside a form, images can be uploaded without additional apps. This form element is optimised for mobile and directly opens the system camera. You can define how many images can be uploaded

New Sidebar design

The sidebar got a new style and can handle long section titles much better. Also the Sections can now be segmented in different menu groups.

Announcement Banner

It now is possible to show a banner for important messages. The banner will pop up each time the app is opened. If the user closes the banner once, the message will be muted.

Open

Analytics

You can now integrate Matomo (formerly Piwik) into Portrait. This enables you to track the usage of the app and learn what information is relevant for your users.

You can install Matomo on-premise or use a cloud instance. Read more about the feature here: Analytics

Backend

New user administration design

The user administration was redesigned to give a clearer and better overview of the different states. Also a styled user icon was introduced (calculated based on the e-mail address).
