Sources are the mechanism for retrieving data for the index. They are mostly pulled, but can also be pushed via API. Before a source can be configured, a Connection must exist. The data inside a source are then presented via Sections to the user.

While importing data from sources, a field processor can manipulate or extend the given data with a handlebars subset.
