This section explains how to set a custom Favicon for your Portrait deployment.

Locating the Folder Path

You can find the folder in which your favicons have to be stored under:

<PORTRAIT-INSTALLATION-FOLDER>/app/config/frontend/static/favicons

Generating and storing the favicons

• In order to assure that all the different types of favicons are covered, we recommend using https://realfavicongenerator.net/ to generate the favicons.

  • The site supports the following image types: .png, .jpg, .jfif, .jpeg, .pjpeg, .pjp, .gif, .svg

• From the Site download the Favicon package.

• Afterwards, you can store the created files in /<PORTRAIT-INSTALLATION-FOLDER>/app/config/frontend/static/favicons

• After a restart of the containers, Portrait will now display your custom favicons.
